Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas everyone and thank you so much to all who sent cards or gifts, everything is cherished. ♥

(Lola, I still need to go to the post office and pick yours up, as it arrived when we were out of town!) Santa was extra nice to me this year and brought me a Nook Color *squee*, but best of all my twin sister sent me a One Ring. Yes, that ring! It's even got the elvish inscription on it, it's beautiful! ♥ ♥ ♥ I had to work part of Christmas day but then got to Scype with my sister from across the miles. Not the same as being together but pretty darn nice. Then the day after Christmas we went to a place called Castaway Bay, an indoor water park. Great fun for the kids...I never can understand how they don't get chilly, because I was freezing my arse off except when we were in the hot tub. I enjoy water rides a bit more when it's 90 degrees and they're outside in the summer sun. All three of my children swim like fishes though so they were son wanted to spend the entire time in the wave pool, down here (it's turned off in the picture though).

And another view of the play area...they've also got a zip coaster and a few body slides, plus a pool for playing water basketball and the giant hot tub. You can actually go outside in the hot tub too--it's about 30 degrees Fahrenheit here so that makes it interesting.

Just got home today. I hope everyone's holidays were/are fantastic. We go this weekend to celebrate with my husband's side of the family and then my mini-vacation from work is over. BTW I've almost completely decided not to apply for the other job. Many of you told me to go with my gut, and this never really lit a fire under me so I think that's telling me to pass. My love to you all! :-)

I got your gift, simply amazing, babe, thank you! Did mine arrive? I sent it on Dec. 20th, hopefully you'll have it by the new year:)

shoot, it hasn't arrived yet sweets. The mail here is very slow though. *huggles you* :-)
Skype is the best thing - I was talking to my family back in Finland on Christmas Day too. We now Skype with our iPad which is fantastic because you can walk around the house and don't need headphones so everyone can join in the chat. Technology can be such a wonderful thing!

Enjoy the rest of your mini holiday!XXX
It's wonderful isn't it Gem? :-) Skype I mean. Sometimes I think technology isn't so when my computer is crashing. ;-)
That place looks so fun! There's one in Durango, Colorado and we go in the summer. It's a mini version of that place.

I just started using Skype. It's pretty amazing. There's an app for iPhones and iPads called facetime too if you have those fancy devices. Technology is amazing!

Sounds like you are making the decision that is right for you!

Enjoy the rest of your time off Lynne!
:-) Thanks CD!
Happy Holidays to you too - enjoy the rest of your time off!

*big hugs*
:-) *hugs you back*
Damn work security - I can't see the pictures will have to look later. Sounds like a fun day though! Is good to hear that Charlie is having such a good time!

Happy Christmas to you too - I hope that next year is an amazing one! XXXX
My very best wishes for an amazing year for you too, ki. *huggles you*

Those places are fun especially for kids...there're load of them here, some of them really gigantic, but except one all the rest are outdoors, just for summer time.I went to the one near my house with my son for years and it was exhausting for me...except for the bubbles hot pool,of course :D

Hope you like my little present when you get it,not much but made by myself...

Enjoy the rest of your holidays sweety,I myself have a lot of work, but even so I find some time for fun too.
I just got it lola, thank you so much! Homemade things really mean so much. :-) It's sitting on my dresser so I will see it every morning.
Wow! That place looks pretty amazing. There's a couple of water parks on the Gold Coast, but I've only been to one indoors one, which was quite a bit smaller than where you were I dare say!
I remember one Xmas when my sister rang, and I didn't get to talk to her. Didn't make me happy at all, as you can probably imagine!
*le sigh* I love that avatar. :-) Nice to see you about again Avs!
